Mark Alden Branch is an editor and writer who specializes in higher education, architecture, and design. A graduate of Yale College with a major in architecture, he has been an editor of the Yale Alumni Magazine since 1997. Before that, he was a senior editor at Progressive Architecture and I.D. (International Design) magazines, and he was architecture critic for the Dallas Observer. He is coauthor of the book “Devil’s Workshop: 25 Years of Jersey Devil Architecture.” He lives in New Haven.
