2014 Ezra Stiles Film Festival
The Second Annual Ezra Stiles Student Film Festival took place on Tuesday, February 18 at 8:00pm in the Crescent Theater. Detailed rules and information can be found by clicking on the links below. Best Musical Performance: Tear Drops on My Guitar by John Gonzales and Caitlin Pequinot
Best Film 2nd Runner-Up: Rohan Goswami and Jacob Allen for Gravity
Best Director: Rachel Yost-Dubrow for Monday Funday
Best Animated Film: Ryan Cavataro for Ghost
Best Actor or Actress in a Lead Role: Kendrick Kirk for Dining Hall
Best Actress or Actor in a Supporting Role: Ethan Campbell-Taylor for John’s Travels and Monday Funday
The 2012 Ezra Stiles Film Festival
The First Annual Ezra Stiles Student Film Festival, co-sponsored by the Ezra Stiles Head of College Office and the Yale Student Technology Collaborative, took place on October 3, 2012. Nine films by Stiles students and relating in some way to Ezra Stiles College competed for a variety of awards and prizes, including the coveted Golden Moose Award. Special thanks to the esteemed panel of judges: Marichal Gentry - Dean of Student Affairs, Susan Cahan - Associate Dean for the Arts, Ted Van Alst - Assistant Dean and Director of the Native American Cultural Center, Ronald Gregg - Senior Lecturer, Film Studies Department, Camille Lizarríbar – Dean of Ezra Stiles College. A good time was had by all and planning is already underway for next year’s festival. GFM – Get Filming Moose!
