Amin Abdul-Malik Gonzalez is Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Co-Director of Multicultural Recruitment at Yale University where he has regional responsibility for New Haven, Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. A native New Yorker from Spanish Harlem and first-generation college graduate of Wesleyan University, he is a proud Albert G. Oliver Scholar and Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. In addition to working in highly selective college admissions for many years, Amin has taught history, coached varsity sports, and served as a college counselor in independent boarding schools in three states.
