Christine Weideman

Carrie Weideman is the Director of Manuscripts and Archives in the Yale University Library. She arrived at Yale in 1993 and served as assistant head, deputy director, and interim director of the repository before becoming director. She began her career as an assistant archivist at the Bentley Historical Library at the University of Michigan and worked there until she left for Yale. She has extensive experience in the core functions of archival repositories and in their administration and am a Distinguished Fellow of the Society of American Archivists. Carrie lives in Hamden with one cat, one dog, and one sister.
