Leslie Stone manages the portfolio of fellowships, exchanges and internships that comprise Yale-China’s Education Program. Prior to joining Yale-China, she served for ten years as executive director of the Lingnan Foundation where she is most proud of supporting the development of liberal education in South China and establishing the W.T. Chan Fellowships Program. She earlier held positions at the Institute of International Education (IIE), WorldTeach, Inc., Prince George’s County Public Schools, and the Nanjing Aeronautical Institute. Leslie serves as a member of the advisory board for Lingnan University’s Office of Service Learning in Hong Kong. She holds an M.A. in Chinese Studies from the University of Michigan and a B.A. from Bowdoin College.
