Mellon Research Grants for Seniors & Mellon Senior Forum
Mellon research funding helps seniors meet expenses for senior essays and projects. The grant stipulates that recipients must present their research to the Mellon Senior Forum. The Mellon Senior Forum meets roughly every two weeks throughout the year and provides an opportunity for seniors to get together with their classmates to share senior work-in-progress, and to enjoy a nice catered meal. Details about the process for joining the Mellon Senior Forum are emailed to seniors early fall semester.
Summer Fellowships
Ezra Stiles College has two summer fellowships for which priority is given to applicants from Ezra Stiles: the John E. Linck & Alanne Headland Linck Fellowship and The Gary Stein Fellowship, and a third administered by each residential college to its own students, The Richter Fellowship.
The Richter Fellowship
The Richter Fellowship is awarded through each college for independent study or research. For more information, contact kathryn.dunn@yale.edu or see the Student Grants Database. The Head of College Office will announce the deadline to apply in January.
Arts Funding
Creative and Performing Arts (CPA) Awards are awarded at the beginning of each term to support on-campus dramatic, musical, dance, video or film productions, literary publications, and exhibitions in each residential college. The Head of College Office will announce the process and deadlines to apply at the start of each term. Students in all years (first-year through senior) are encouraged to apply.
